About VOOB:

Sweden is facing a historic shortage of skills in healthcare. VOOB is working to meet this challenge by recruiting, training, and integrating nurses from India into Swedish healthcare. Through VOOB Academy, we offer a training program that combines language instruction, mentorship, and preparation for Swedish nursing licensure. Our goal is long-term: to strengthen continuity, quality, and patient safety in healthcare.

About the position:

VOOB Academy is now seeking licensed nurses who want to serve as mentors and support international colleagues on their path to Swedish licensure and work in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a mentor and role model for nurses in VOOB Academy's training program.
• Introduce participants to Swedish healthcare routines, journal systems, documentation, and communication methods – based on, among other things, the Care Handbook.
• Support preparation for knowledge tests, practical training, and professional requirements according to the Socialstyrelsen's conversion process.
• Participate in the development of training materials and individual development plans.
• Collaborate with language teachers and educational coordinators to integrate theory and practice.
• Follow up on participants' progress and contribute to the pedagogical development of VOOB Academy.
• Serve as a bridge between VOOB, the nurses, and the receiving healthcare facility – by engaging in dialogue with the organization and adapting mentorship to their needs, feedback, and expectations.

Qualifications:

• Licensed nurse in Sweden.
• At least two years of clinical experience.
• Experience in supervision, introduction, or mentorship.
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English and digital proficiency.
• Preferred: Experience in municipal elderly care.
• Preferred: Knowledge of the Socialstyrelsen's licensure process for nurses outside the EU/EES/Switzerland.

• Pedagogical, attentive, and supportive.
• Accustomed to working independently and in a structured manner.
• Interest in integration, education, and long-term improvements in the healthcare system.

Flexible extent according to agreement.

Remote work – you can reside anywhere in Sweden.
